Clearance Sale on Rannoch hose - Orange and Mustard

Howdy! I need to clear some inventory of two colors of Rannoch hose. House of Cheviot has replaced the Orange color of this line with a similar color called Cinnamon. Also, the Mustard color has received somewhat of an upgrade, and their new Mustard shade is a bit brighter in tone than the previous.

So I need to clear what inventory I have of these two colors. Both have been reduced to $39.95 on Amazon, while stock lasts. Have fun guys!

Standard size, which is to say they fit calves up to 16" or 17" circumference just fine.

I just ordered a BRIGHT orange pair. They are guaranteed to rip the orange out of the MacFarlane Hunting and Duncan Ancients. They will also look great this spring with the Blaylock. I'll look like a giant Easter egg!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Tis a nice orange ('ancient' red) indeed! I have a pair of the same colour in the Lewis line.

A few pictures for comparison. The old color is on the left, and the new is on the right.

From left to right: Orange, Cinnamon, (old) Mustard, New Mustard

Close up: Orange (L) and Cinnamon (R)

Close up: Old Mustard (L) and New Mustard (R)

Is it my imagination or is the cable pattern on last year's Rannoch "finer" than this year's? The new pattern looks a bit coarser - more like the Lewis.

Not your imagination. The cable pattern on the current hose style is a bit larger than previous.

I love the new colours! Matt, do you know if these colours will be available in the Lewis line? It seems House of Cheviot needs to offer more colours, along the lines of the Rannoch, in the Lewis. They used to, but it has been a while.

    Cheers,

Yes, Kyle, they used to offer 18 different colors in Lewis as stock options, which I personally thought was great, but it just got to be uneconomical for them. They have pared that down to 9 different stock colors in the Lewis. But when you consider the colors they also offer in Rannoch, Glenmore, and other lines, it still adds up to quite a wide range of colors.

Of course, if any stockists wants to order a special run of Lewis (or any other style) made in a given color, that can be easily done. I'd be happy to quote anyone interested a minimum order requirement, etc.

    Aye,
    Matt
