It's Been A Busy Week For My Postman!
I'm in the middle of several projects AND re-fitting my workshop for more bench space dedicated to metal work. In one corner of my shop I had a pile of boxes I've received over the last week or so. Today I was shifting them from box to zippered storage bag (as it's getting warmer, and living in the woods I am always vigilant against the potential for moths.)
While I had everything open I decided to take a few snaps.

From left to right- Angora goat, horse hair, musquash (muskrat), and a GIANT wolverine (supplied by the commissioner).

The wolverine again- just look at those claws! If it gives you any sense of scale, the last pelt over on the right is an Australian Opossum, and on it is a decorative brass cantle. That cantle is 6" wide.
Yes, in case you are wondering, my work shop bears more than a passing resemblance to the laboratory of Dr. Moreau.

It is destined to be several sporrans (PM sent).
On a side note, the commissioner mentioned that this one isn't a patch on some of the others his source gets!
I'm well pleased that my job just involves making them into sporrans, and not approaching them caught in a trap, live, and quite cheesed-off!
