    Caldwell/Colwell Surname Origin

    Hello,

Was wondering if anyone here might be a Caldwell/Colwell or variant, or if anyone knows where this surname may have originated?

I've seen about four points of origin throughout the British Isles, but was wondering if somone had a family story.

    Cheers,

    Joel
