Looks great and obviously you are enjoying it. Now take it for a walk around town and rake in all the compliments you are going to get.

I have a couple of friends coming into town this weekend, I will break it in at several bars via guys night out.

Don't think i can find a more fitting way to start.

Looks great and indeed fit for a Pub or two (or three...) Enjoy! It's a habit not easily broken [kilt wearing that is, not drinking ]

    Re: My First Kilt

For a first kilt you look very spiffy. Good show! Nicely done. I think the belt looks fine.

Of course, a lot of it could be that winning smile and the fan that looks like a propeller coming out of your head.

I empathize with that pose, because one of the first of me in a kilt was an outdoor one with an "accidental/coincidental" roof turbine directly behind my head. You could only see the bottom corners of the turbine, so it looked like I was wearing pirate earrings! It now occupies an honored place in my bar.

Enjoy your "guys night out", and happy kilting!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
