Patterned Wardrobe
As noticed recently in denmcdough's Kilted Irishman thread, a solid coloured kilt can afford more opportunities to present patterns in other aspects of the ensemble. I'd like to see some more members' expressions while wearing solid or non-tartan kilts. What d'ya got?

A little surprising no one has posted yet. I consider solid-color, non-traditional kilts with plaid shirt to be the American way of wearing a kilt. To me, it's an extension of plaid shirt with khaki trousers or jeans to the kilt. I also consider the plaid shirt to be a tradition of sorts in North America, so why not?
I have a few pictures of this in my profile album right now.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Hey, I think this looks great. Every bit as "traditional" (read: 19th century) looking as anything else I've seen. Excellent taste!!!
