Get thee behind me, Satan, and tempt me not!

You and I have spoken often enough that you KNOW what's going through my mind, but S.W.M.B.O.* says "no." We have other expenses pending, which you will see shortly!

    Ah well, perhaps... perhaps... perhaps...

    Later.

If that was 25% off, plus the 10% for Xmarkers, AND it applied to kilts made from customer supplied material.... Saints preserve me, but I would be EXTREMELY hard-pressed to resist...

As the owner of a few of John's kilts, I know they are of first rate quality and 25% off is a very generous discount. I'd like a lot of things, to be cheaper than they are but I recognize reality too, a craftsman has to make a living as well. I mean no negativity or ill will in this comment, but having experienced personal financial strain over the last several months I realize at the end of day it's still a very tough economy for all of us.

I think John has offered a most generous discount for the week and I for one, have pulled the pin and ordered a deluxe knife pleated kilt in 16oz Lochcarron

    Good one John

It is indeed still a tough economy for all of us. John's sale is very generous and I highly encourage anyone who has been waiting to get a kilt, to get in there, while the getting is good. My comment was merely expressing that I am having a VERY hard time resisting this sale because it is such a good deal Resist it I must, however, because there is still tuition to be paid first...

I took the plunge the last time, April 2012, went John offered the 25% off for Tartan Day. I'm currently Jonesing for my Keltoi kilt to arrive, according to John, I've got about another month to go. It's getting closer.

The 25% takes the place of the 10% off for XMarks. A great deal.

Well, my wait list is 14 weeks right now. So, that's about a pound a week?

I'm hoping it won't be another 14 weeks to get back down to fighting weight.
I'm holding off on ordering a new kilt 'til then, cuz I want to make sure the measurements are good.
