My lovely Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess, charming little girl, and I hopped into the convertible and motored down to foggy cool Monterey this past Sunday to enjoy the Monterey Highland Games. Here are a few photos from our trip. Fairground Entrance We immediately bumped into our Longhunter74 (aka Jeffrey) and his family Followed shortly by Scottish Terrier (aka Bill) this of course required an XMTS group shot! It was a splendidly foggy and cool day, just perfect for tweed! The wee girl isn't so wee any more and she takes after her Mother in loving bright colors More to come

Alan throwing the caber Saying goodbye to Jeffrey, he is being transferred to North Carolina shortly We will miss having him be part of the Nor Cal Rabble as he is a grand fellow. I'm sure we will meet up with him again We stopped in Moss Landing for lunch on the way home and thought this would be a good place to take a photo for the "Cars of XMTS" thread. Me and my trusty Brave Ulysses It was a great day Cheers Jamie
Nice pics!
Looks like a duck dog herding demonstration to me. JMB
I didn't realize Jeff was moving until you mentioned that to me....it's a bummer to see him go, but I wish him and the family well, and I have no doubt he'll do great in whatever new gig he's assigned to in NC.
Wonderful photos. Thank you!
Great set of pictures, Jamie. Thanks for posting!

Wonderful!
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.
