Last Saturday I attended a Chutney and whiskey tasting event at our local Scottish Imports Shop. Ran into one other xmarker there, Lancer. While there was looking at items that I just couldn't live without and found this stag horn topped walking stick.
Obviously, as my new kilt has a stag horn kilt pin attached, the next logical accessory would have to be this walking stick, I mean, that is logical isn't it?
But the shop was unable to tell me what kind of wood the stick is made of. The attached pic is not very good but I hope maybe someone might be able to tell me what the wood is. It is a reddish brown color with a lot of little light colored spots all over it. The wood grain runs the length of the stick. Any ideas what it is?
