New bonnet and walking stick together for the first time.

While I was not kilted, I did get my new walking stick and decided to try it out with my new Mackie bonnet at the Louisburg KS Apple Cider fest. It was a brisk and bluster day but I wore a nice sweater like top with my wool bonnet to keep the dome warm. The walking stick just added to the whole scene.

Nice looking balmoral and walking stick. I like that dicing peeking out from under the crown. I have a similar stick with a V-shaped antler on top with thumb notch and whistle. I can use it as a rifle rest and blow for help, when I miss and the bear chases me down the mountain.

Now, for the kilted version ...?

Yes, a kilted version will be coming along shortly. I'm thinking kilted Friday this coming week...might be the perfect time.
