Band of the Scots Guards and The Black Watch 3rd BN - 2013 USA Tour Schedule

For those members of the Rabble who live in the area, or relatively close, mark your calendars for Wednesday evening, March 13, 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky!

My lovely wife, Stephanie, my Aunt Carolyn and I (naturally, I wore Highland dress - as did many other patrons in attendance) saw the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland along with the Band of the Irish Guards in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri back in 2010 and actually partied with several members of the band after the concert - what a night that was! I also saw the Black Watch and the Band of the Welsh Guards in concert back in 2006 at The Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis. I'm looking forward to seeing the Band of the Scots Guards and The Pipes, Drums, Highland Dancers of The Black Watch 3rd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland, once again!

Perhaps some of us could arrange to attend the concert together and have a casual "kilt night" afterwards at Louisville pub. I am not too familiar with the greater Louisville area, but I am sure our fellow members who hail from that part of the country could offer their recommendations. This would be a wonderful time to get together for a most enjoyable evening of authentic, Army pipes, drums, brass and Highland dancing. I will be seeing them in Worcester, Massachusetts on January 29th. That's two weeks, folks! My whole band is going kilted to see the show. I am really looking forward to this!!!

Thanks for posting this! They will be in my little Oklahoma town in February!! I was not able to order tickets or get details about the when/where exactly the show was, but I have some time to figure it out. Looking forward to it!

Breaking my heart! They are in Toronto for a Sunday afternoon concert and I simply can't make it after church. Next time, I guess. On the up side, SWMBO and I have begun discussing summer vacation, which hopefully will include a trip to the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. I think there will be a pipe or two there.

I think so too! I've always wanted to attend the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, someday soon perhaps.
