New Kilt! ~ "Heritage of Ireland"
This local store called the "Plaid Place" is having a 50% off sale on everything (apparently they do every year around this time) ..... so I figured I might get this "Heritage of Ireland" tartan kilt to express my Irish ancestry on my father's parents side - and to add a bit of brighter colour.

I even wore my sporran I made (I usually have not been wearing a sporran) out of two old army boots I got second hand ... and long boot laces and laces I braided.
It's 8 yards of PV and feels like it doesn't open up quite as much if there is some windiness outside (maybe the apron isn't so wide as my other 2 kilts) so it actually might feel a bit warmer since it doesn't seem to lose all the warm air down under there if the wind picks up.
Anyway, I wore it out a lot today (walking here and there and back down to the big market .... feels pretty good
Had two comments "you must be cold in that" within 1 minute - that's a record haha
