    Awesome Kilt

I took the afternoon off to take advantage of a sale at a men’s store. I took a couple of kilts along to make sure the shirts I bought didn't clash with them too badly. When I pulled my Matt Newsome kilt out of the garment bag I was immediately swarmed by the store’s employees. I knew kilts were babe magnets, but I didn’t know they could be magnets for retail clothing people.

I had lots of people asking about the D. C. Dalgliesh custom-woven fabric. Several people were absolutely fascinated by the selvedge. At least one of the tailors will probably be ordering from them in the near future. But the real fun was how the tailors went absolutely nuts over the pleating and stitching (yes, one of the salesmen took the kilt back to the tailors). I think they wanted to keep it and study it. One of them was trying to tell me how difficult those box pleats are to get so perfect, then I showed him the taper and the rise

Good on ya, Matt. You were a rock-star today

*** to all of the above. I've never had a kilt that fitted so perfectly, until I got my own New House Highland kilt. The man's a genius!

Matt's kilts are some of the finest that I have ever seen. I hope to add one to my wardrobe.

My New House Highland Polaris Kilt is do on my doorstep sometime in February,I can't wait. I already have a belted Half Plaid that Matt did for me in My family ( Hall) tartan to match my other kilt . It draws rave reviews everytime I wear it. I'm sure the new kilt will as well.

Don't wait too long. I understand Matt has a long waiting list, and he's not getting any younger.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
