    PC Waistcoat

I have the opportunity to obtain a PC jacket, but there is no waistcoat. Is it possible to get a 3 button PC waistcoat separately?

If you can tell us the maker of the jacket we can assist better.

Many of us have accounts with the major jacket makers and can order a vest alone. Knowing the maker would help find you a vest that matches cut, button style, and may match color and fabric better but not guaranteed. The dye may be slightly different.

Instead of looking for a matching waistcoat you could consider a three-button waistcoat in a contrasting colour or in the same tartan as your kilt.

    Here, Here!

Red could be quite striking, depending on your tartan.

Bias-cut tartan waistcoat is what I'd be looking for as well. It's pretty difficult to match a waistcoat to a jacket if they weren't made to go together (i.e. not all black barathea wool is the same). But with a tartan waistcoat, you needn't worry about it. And you'll look 10 times as awesome.

Red could be quite striking, depending on your tartan.
Or, depending on the tartan again, a medium or pearl gray can look very formal.
