    Newbie to the attire

Well I'm new to the whole attire, and learning alot as I go.

It's probably best to start at the top - I'm an Aussie, but with some long running Scottish heritage.
soon, I'll be married to an American born - Irish lass (I'll get slapped with a wooden spoon if she sees that)

The wedding has taken a traditional turn, and as a result I'll be attending in appropriate attire.
I have been hand making most of my kit along the way, and plan to show some of it off for judgmental eyes in later posts.

I understand there is a great deal of division of the topic of non-Scottish born folk donning the tartan, and I'm not here to push the issue.

merely to show my respect for those who came before me - and maybe to assist in keeping the culture alive.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and welcome to the forum. Nothing rocks a wedding like a kilted groom.

I can definitely see that I'm out of my timezone here - 4:30am here.
haven't seen days like this since I was first courting the missus-to-be over skype.
