Claymore sporran
I've been thinking about making a sporran out of a claymore bag. No, not a bag for a big Highland sword, but a bag for an M18A1 mine. I think such a sporran might go well with an OD modern kilt. The two big pockets would be nice, and the ease of access, however, I'm wondering if the bag might be too wide to be practical. Any thoughts on this? I've bags over 45 years old, and don't want to start chopping on them without giving it some thought.
