    Nice shots. I remember taking part in the Stonehaven Half Marathon in my younger days.

    I visited Stone Haven in 2009. Was lucky enough to get a B&B right on the beach. Great little town and hope to get there again in a few years. Of course since it is near Dunnottar makes it even more special for Keith.

    Thanks for the cool pics. So that's where the flying saucers are landing. I would have guessed Stonehenge.

    Hotel in that location must be the Royal... You didnt take a walk up to the war memorial or the castle?

    There are more than a few stone cirlcles, standing stones, cairns, roman forts, etc in the area, so I wouldn't rule out flying saucers...

    Yep The Royal and yes we did but by then my camera had died a death and now resides in the bin!

    Thanks for sharing these photos, the first two could be postcards. I was there a week or so ago and I always forget to take pictures of anything. What a view from your hotel window!
