A friend of mine said he searched the sites of the kiltmakers who support us here (Bear, Chris, Rocky etc) looking for a lower costing kilt in a Cameron tartan, it's a red one he wears. My friend said that Cameron was very much absent from most sites. Can anyone help?

I know that USAKilts has had the Cameron of Locheil tartan for a long time. It sews-up heavy when deep pleats are bought (hint, hint). It's a poly fabric, so it's basically wash-and-wear. I had a kilt made out of this for a long time, and it was a "tank".
Arise. Kill. Eat.
I too have access to Cameron, but only in real wool. Alas, we need a US tartan mill. One that does worsted and poly/vis.
Thanks Jimmy and Chris, I've directed my friend to both sites to see what is available.
I just found some cotton Cameron. Runs about $15 USD a yard tho.
Try this site Graham they have a red Cameron http://www.lochcarron.com/stromesw.htm
