Greetings from Birmingham, Alabama!
Hello to all!
I must admit that I have pilfered information from this site for quite some time. I figured that if I'm going to continue to do so, I should at least be a member and contribute once in a while.
I have been a kilt wearer for some time now, as has my father. We are both members of the Saint Andrew's Society of the Middle South, and I serve as Sergeant-At-Arms. As far as kilts go, I have but one - an 8 yard beauty ordered from the Scottish Tartans Museum in Franklin, NC. It is of course, the Keith tartan in ancient colors. Of late, I have been considering another kilt in the Keith modern, but haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. My collection of sporrans, hose, flashes, and jackets has continued to grow, and I enjoy mixing and matching items for various occasions.
I'll post some pics and work on an avatar soon, but I figured I should go ahead and introduce myself.
I look forward to taking part in some of the lively discussions I've previously read, and I'd like to thank the rabble in advance for taking me in!
Cheers,
Kevin
