If you can, be sure to say, "Hello" to my students from the Amarillo Firefighter Pipes and Drums. They'll be traveling down for their second year, I believe.

Let me add some info. The Lewisville Fire Department hosts a pipe and drum symposium called "Keeping Tradition Alive Honor Guard, Pipes & Drums Symposium". See this page for a bit more info.

I only found out about it last year while putting gas in my car. I was suddenly surrounded by five uniformed fire fighters asking about my kilt, do I pipe, did I make it, do I know other pipers, etc. They told me about the event.
