Sword baldric and other sundries
Hey all!! Look who's back!! Yep... Been away a while- life sometime gets in the way of... well... everything... However, I'm back and have a few new projects to show off.
So as the oldtimers here know, I'm in a living history group that focuses on the Highland Scots from about 1650 to the battle of Culloden. The first item is my new sword baldric!

And while not strictly kilt-related, my camp chair is based on period designs, and my kilted rear spends time in it!

And last, but not least, my new belt pouch, which is loosely based on a smaller pouch that my family has in our heirloom collection that is from the same period that our represents. It's from about 1740.

That is one awesome looking camp chair, I really dig it.
Also the others are nice for the eyes too.

First of all, welcome back. Secondly, the baldric looks great with that basket hilt.

Wow! It's nice to be missed! I've been busy. Our family house sprung a leak, so we decided to sell it. Spent the last several months getting it ready to sell, finding a new place to live, moving, etc... However, things have settled down. I'll be posting soon in the Show Us Your Pics forum. I have a wonderful set of vacation photos from Th'Gatherin' in WaKeeney, Kansas.
