Boy Scouts and Kilts
Every summer, our Boy Scout troop goes to camp for a week. Normally, I stay the entire week but this year, because of work scheduling, I could not stay. I helped to transport the boys there and then had to come home. This is a shot of my son Zachary and myself in the troops campsite at Camp Orr Boy Scout Camp which is located just outside Jasper, Arkansas on the Buffalo National River. In the course of under two hours, from the campsite, to the flag ceremony, through breakfast and back to the campsite, I received 50-60 positive comments. I had NEVER received that many at any one time. I had a smile on my face all day long.
Now, if I can just get him into a Kilt. He's seen me wear one for many years but he's just not interested.
