Very awsome! I am a former Marine and that makes my day. I am still working on finding a Poly/V version of the LeatherNeck Tartan. that would be truly awsome!

It's tough to shock a Marine, but I think the Sgt is well and truely shocked by this. Way to go!

The news section is a great idea, Hank.
Hopefully there will be no shortage of kilt related news to post.

That's GREAT! A MARPAT "Survival" Kilt! Outstanding!

I sure hope he's actually able to wear the thing other than in the barracks.

Those guys that donated the money, time and effort are to be commended over at the UtiliKilt Yahoo forum. Not only good guys, but quality people!

You know, there are a lot of pipers in Iraq at present; I know of a couple who are members of the Clan Gunn Society who are currently deployed, not to mention the pipers who are over with the Argylls, the RSDG's, the Royal Irish Regiment, The Royal Scots and the Black Watch. The Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry had their pipers in Afganistan.

It's good to see that the pipes and the kilt is really taking off with the US forces. Is the brass at the Pentagon listening?

    Cheers,

    Todd
