Beverly's bonnie bonnets

A month or two ago Beverly (aka Dixiecat) was cleaning her closet of some excess wool hand knitted bonnets she had made is spare time flying or waiting around in airports, and I was lucky enough to capture the last two she had put up for sale. I recieved them promptly from her several weeks ago but have not fulfilled my promise to post photos of them being worn. Til now at least--here is the first, what I think will become my favorite. A lovely mustard heather with grey edge and central crown, with a fully functional adjustable black ribbon allowing for significant size variability. I worn this one yesterday when out for a cool morning round of kilted golf and it was perfect for the occasion. Densely felted, impeccably perfect knitting without the hint of a flaw, unique in color, style and construction. This will be remaining at or near the top of my bonnet pile for the foreseeable future. Pictures of grey bonnet #2 when I get a few minutes and another cool day. Thanks again Beverly, these will be cherished.
