    sporran pattern needed

I need a pattern as detailed as possible for a hunting sporran. I would make a pattern for myself but all my leathercraft gear except for the leather is unaccessable due to our move. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you're very likely to find a comprehensive pattern for a hunting sporran.

Even the most basic ones are going to be somewhere around 20 individual parts, not including domed rivets or any tooling.

You can find a post from several years ago by artificer which details his design process for a hunting sporran. All it takes is paper, so you can make a pattern without leathercraft gear.

True enough, but I wouldn't consider that a very comprehensive pattern. The ACTUAL pattern set I have for that sporran has 4 individual templates just to do the fold-petals.

I made a pattern for one by cutting down a copy of the "trooper tailor" pattern to size and shape, then freehand drew the pattern for the decorative bits. It will probably a few weeks til I get working on it though as I misplaced my irish linen cord and I am working on a pair of boots for my aunt right now.
