StillWaterKilts
I've seen others mention this company on other posts before and I own 5 kilts from this company. I happen to think they are awsome! Just wondering if anyone else likes their kilts.

I looked at their kilts, but the only length is way too long for me and I'd need to almost remake it to get that right.

I have 3 Stillwater Kilts, myself. Both the Royal and Black Stewart, and Black Watch. I'm still considering the Solid Black, however Jeremy will be introducing a new tartan soon, so I'm kind of waiting to see exactly what it will be.
You'll never find a better kilt for twice the $$!
I simply love all of mine, and highly recommend them!

Their kilts look very nice, but I can seem to find the price on their website.

I don't think their web site lists the price currently, but the last time I checked it was $85.00 USD. On ebay the bidding starts at $75.00 USD. Jeremy, the business proprietor, absolutely wrote the book on customer service! GREAT to do business with! I cannot wait until the new tartans that he has to offer come out!! Currently I own the Black Watch, Stewart, Black Stuart, and Wallace. I can't say enough good things about StillwaterKilts. You simply will not find another company offering the same quality kilt for the $!

Bubba, the length was too long for me as well. At 5'8" 150lb, the bottom was well below the knee. I just done a short width, short lenght zigzag stich where I wanted the finished length to be, cut off the excess about 1/8th inch below the stich and finged the bottom very much like the bottom of my Bear kilt. The fringe is almost unnoticeable. I would not consider myself to be very proficiant at the sewing machine, so you would have no problem!

Pictures of Stillwaters look great ...
But isn't acrylic hot in the summer and cold in the winter?
Asking 'cause i'm looking for a comfy but sharp bit'o'tartan for warm weather.

Stillwater kilts
I have one in Royal Stewart, and after a few very basic modifications, I love it. I will be getting Black Stewart and a Black Watch as well. My heavy weight wool kilt is too much here in Hawaii, and besides I can wear a $75.00 kilt anywhere and not worry about ruining it.

I am not very much into ironing and would prefer to do as little of it as posible are this stiched pleats? as in all the way down the pleat? I must agree the price is right and the Black watch would be might nice.

If you really hate ironing, have a look at Bear Kilts, I have never ironed my pleats, and they even hold great straight out of the washer/dryer.
From the sounds of it Stillwater does have a really good product.
