Greetings from Bavaria
Hello all.
So after a Long time of lurking in the shadows of the forum, reading up on a lot of good information, I finally got around to signing up. I currently live in Bavaria (Germany) and have previously lived in Italy and Wisconsin (USA), as I'm of Italian, Bavarian, Indian descent I don't really have any direct ties to Scotland (unless unbeknown to me there had been ties during the British Raj), but have been fascinated by kilts for quite some time.
I don't yet own one, but hope to purchase my first one within the first 3 months of the New Year.

Welcome from a Germanophile in Indiana. During 1979, I spent the summer in Marktoberdorf, Bayern. Not too far from Fuessen as I recall. Anyway, I am very envious of you. One of these years, before I get too old to travel, I want to go back and spend time in Germany. If you still reside there, perhaps we can go get a stein or two in our kilts. Gruess Gott und aufwiedersehen.

Greetings from Ireland. I had a great time in Munich back in the summer and my kilt was very well received by the inhabitants.
