Boots and hose
When many of you wear boots with your kilts, how do you wear your hose? I wear a pair of black Corcoran Jump boots and was having a hard time figuring how to West the hose. High? Folded? Pictures would help. Thanks.

When boots were worn with the kilt in times past, hose were pulled up.

I sometimes wear Timberland boots with hose, but they're more like hightops. They don't go as high as your jump boots. However, I'd say pulled up and folded over.

I dont do jump boots with a kilt, but after a career as a paratrooper I do need extra ankle support, so I wear ankle boots. I wear my hose pulled up.

And yes, my laces had come untucked of one boot, I put them back in as soon as I realized it!
Edited to add,
Here are the boots I wear, I have a brown and black pair. The brown ones get worn 2-3 times a week, while the black ones are reserved mostly for evening wear when kilted.

Hose up for me... but hose down looks too modern or sloppy imo.

Hard to see, but I am wearing boots, I personally think the scrunched down look is just not for me, it's to my mind sloppy at best.

Up or Down
With boots I prefer the Hose up look. If I am just gallivanting around town and am wearing a pullover or waistcoat, I often wear ankle boots. When I go Trail walks or Hiking I add Puttees to my rig of Docs or DMS(square bashers).

I can't find a photo just now, but I will wear over-the-ankle hiking boots when hiking and such, and I always wear the hose up. For tougher walks, I would even wear an extra pair of socks that are rolled down to the top of the boot with the matching colored hose up and gartered. Personally, I don't care for the pushed down sock look.
