I just picked up my new kilt at lunch time. The interesting thing is that I had more looks from carrying it than I ever had from wearing a kilt. Casey

No I was not wearing a kilt. I was acutally casually dressed with jeans, boots, leather jacket, and a plaid shirt that looked ghastly when I tried on the kilt. I ordered the kilt through O'Shea's Market Ireland. They have a store here in Ottawa. It is a MacGregor Ancient tartan (Lochcarron) 4 yd. in a traditional style. I will post some pictures when the rest of the outfit arrives. Argyle waistecoat from Scotland and caubeen from the US. Casey
Sorry for being thick whats a caubeen
A Cuabeen is an Irish version of a Balmoral: http://www.scottishlion.com/irishcaubeen.html http://www.royalirishrangers.co.uk/uniform.html Cheers, T.
