Comrades, In early July, I’ll be flying out of Belfast to Inverness and then visiting family on Skye for a few days. I MAY return to Scotland in August for a week to see friends in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and possibly a road trip with said friends through the highlands. I have spent a little time in Edinburgh, Glasgow and some of the towns in-between. May I ask for your top (three?) places to see/things to do in-between Inverness and Skye? We’ll assume I have a measly 4 days before needing to return to Belfast. Go raibh maith agaibh. Thanks! Jonathan
I suggest taking the road along the north side of Loch Ness. You'll go by Drumnadrochit, Urquhart Castle, Fort Augustus, and the the Well of the Heads in Invergarry on your way to Skye.
