My grandfather RSM 7th Royal Tank Regiment, was in the seige of Tobruk with them. 7th RTR had Matilda tanks, so with that and in honour of the ANZAC connection. the 7th RTR adopted Waltzing Matilda as the regimental march..

Two of my great uncles served in the Gallipoli campaign and my father was in the Australian 9th Division in the siege of Tobruk and the Battle of El Alamein. This was taken as I was about to leave for today's commemoration in Perth, Western Australia. Apologies for the size and poor clarity.
