Costa Mesa Games 2019 who's coming?

With Southern California's largest Games only two days away (Saturday and Sunday 25 and 26 May) I thought I'd see who is planning on coming!

I'll be there all weekend with the Long Beach Pipe Band (yours truly on the left)

For out-of-towners who are Craft Beer people, there are three breweries within walking distance of each other, close to the fairgrounds. Not sure of the exact distance but we're probably talking Ubering rather than walking from the Fairgrounds to the breweries.

The breweries are (in order of my personal preference)

    Bootleggers https://www.facebook.com/bootleggersbrewerycostamesa/

    Barley Forge

    Gunwhale

If you happen to see me I can give you some excellent DIPA from another local brewery, Taps.

    See you there!

I didn't get any replies as you can see, but I can assure you there were hundreds if not thousands of kilted people there!

Here's our band on Saturday (if the link works)

I wish I was able to attend, unfortunately caught a nasty illness and was down for the count.
Would have been great to see the band play live!

I was out of town when this was posted and didn't see it. I attended both days but spent most of the time on the athletic fields. California weather sat. Scottish sun. I need to post the pics (but first edit. however it may be a while. I got a quick learn 60 pages of music gig and thenm it's back to Idaho/Wyoming/montana for family and photoshoots. Hope the piping went well.

OMG what kind of gig was that?

I was a fulltime musician, in the AFM (Local 7) etc and have done my share of gigs, but 60 pages! Yikes.

It was great to meet you! The dandelion really helps id xmarkers and was fun learning about Calico's double-box pleat kilt and chatting about the forum in the "real" world.

Richard, I saw the Long Beach Pipe Band in Vista but didn't spot you. Did you perform yesterday?
