Finally got a chance to wear my 16oz Teufel Hunden great kilt out. Being a bigger guy, I use 5 yards and wow that got heavy around the waist after a few hours. There was definitely a chill in the air and a decent breeze, but my thighs never suffered unless the breeze gusted up the kilt. It never got chilly enough, though, to wrap the tartan over my shoulder. Got a few complements on it and was happy to air it out. Anyway, excuse the misalignment of the apron. This pic was taken closer to the end of the day after some "hitching up" had been done. Oh, and I totally don't have a steamer and the iron just wasn't cutting it for the wrinkles. I'll be remedying that soon.
