I bought my kilt in Inverness and was also told that when wearing a waistcoat, you shouldn't wear a belt. Another mistake.
I like to wear my kilt as often as I can. My hobby is when I visit around Scotland, I like to buy an accessory for it. I have 2 handmade sporrans from Perth, kilt pins from Oban and so on.
I suppose at the end of the day us purists want to follow the proper code, but at the end of the day so long as the kilt gets worn that's good enough for me. Let's see it more often, not just at weddings.

All the girls at Hooters will have a different city at the bottom of their T-shirts. I can't remember the reason why, but I asked a Hooters girl that very same question one time.

Haven't been back to this thread for a while. Hooters girls trade shirts among themselves, and then wear them. Some travel around, and have worked at different locations. Some people collect them. Some clients bring back shirts for their favorite girls.

All Hooters locations have their own shirts. Sorta like Planet Hollywood.

Well, for one thing, it's an easy way to advertise other locations. Customers are bound to look at the shirts. Whether the customers read the lettering is another story.

I'm kinda searching for pictures. Was this on Bauer sucht Frau? Or another version of the show?

Here's more info on the show, for anyone else desperately looking for hideous barn dance photos http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farmer_Wants_a_Wife

p.s. Herminator, I love NRW; I'd love to get back to there.
