I rarely wear a kilt pin, either... too dangerous for the kilt.

I contacted the company about the backward kilts, and asked if there was a reason they were displayed that way. Haven't heard back yet. Will let you know if I do.
Side note: The kilt items listed say "added January 1 2006". Does that mean they have been up there for 2+ years like that and no one has said anything?

Don't wear something like this... though it is a costume.

No; I believe the principle of "if it's nae Scottish, it's CRRRRRRRAP!" works in reverse as well (i.e. "if it's crrrrrrrrap, it's NAE SCOTTISH!").
