Perhaps we can take all the nice photos and comment about kilt length and move them to this thread where members are currently discussing just that. I have moved some of the more recent posts from this thread regarding kilt length to that thread

I have a new don't!! DON'T ever show you wife the Unikilts website! I was informed that if I ever try to pass one of those things off as a real kilt, she'll find a real man in a real kilt and leave me for him! Just thought I should pass that one along...

Hot Air Ballooning
Do go hot air ballooning and help crew in your kilt. These were taken last weekend at our annual Hot Air Balloon Rally. This is the balloon that we sponsor. This year's theme was "Irish Eyes are Flying". There were several Sport Kilts and a couple of tanks Saturday evening.

This is setting up after the evening flight in preparation of the Balloon Glow event. Unfortunately rain set in and we had to take down sooner than normal for the Glow.

I could have sworn that I had seen that sash before. Sure enough, I was in the Christmas box the other day looking for something and ran across the same piece of cloth. It is a table runner. My wife uses it under decorations. Does this mean I can use it for a sash?

Great pictures! I love the celtic knot balloon in the background all fired up and glowing. That's an awesome picture.

can someone please clean this thread up again? It's full of comments and not a lot of photos. This thread was supposed to be about photos....
Like this:
Dont wear goth clothing to a celtic festival.
Actually, I've seen goth garb pulled off well at Highland festivals. Drop the hem on her dress by at least four inches and loose those hideous fish net spidery looking hose and she could easily pull it off. She just went a little too far and looks more like fancy dress for Halloween.

I can see more than a couple of don'ts with the chap (cut in half) on the left of the picture, above.

Well, lets start a list:
1. Ball cap with formal evening dress
2. Kilt pin as a lapel pin on formal evening dress
3. Black sneakers with formal evening dress
4. Formal evening dress during a un-formal day event
5. Belt and waistcoat
Any more?
