Bravo Rex for your reply.

On any given day there are probably dozens of lurkers on this site, and I'm sure many are getting a chuckle out of this thread. But one of them might happen to be this particular fellow. If you knew the subject of the photo was reading this, what would you say? How would you phrase your critique if he actually asked for one?

While this thread can be amusing, I believe there is a fine line between laughing with each other and laughing at each other. The spirit of this forum seems to be more of the former than the latter. Probably most of us put up pictures of ourselves with the understanding we want constructive critique from fellow members on how we look and how we could improve. And, if we are honest, many of us enjoy the positive comments that are the majority of the replies.
However, if we post someone else's picture, without their consent, and then are critical of their appearance, I personally believe we cross a line into an area of mean-spiritedness.
Wolfpics, Welcome to the forum, I hope you will find this a place of friendship and comraderie as well as a great source of information about kilted life.
I hope my comments haven't offended you. I don't pretend to speak for other members of the forum, only myself. I find life is much more enjoyable if I speak positively to and about others. Negativism takes too much effort.
When you are ready, we all like to see pictures of other kilties, so share with us!
Regards,
Tom

A Hay, No offence taken. I did not post intending to come off as meanspirited. I saw a pic that I found amusing for reasons that I cannot quite put my finger on as well as a kilt made of a material that I had never seen (although it seems to be more common that I'd have though) and wanted to share it.
If my pic or post is offensive or innappropriate or not in the spirit of this thread in some way, I will remove it with my apologies.
