Edinburgh at Festival Time

In Edinburgh on business today; a self portrait in my business suit at Advocates Close.

Seen on the Royal Mile.

Parliament Square and the Law Courts. During my walk to and from the train station and my meeting I probably saw around fifty to a hundred kilted gents - nobody gave my black kilt a second glance

There are many street stalls in connection with the festival and fringe; many are selling jewellery and there are a lot of tattooists.

I found a few moments to pause briefly and take a few pics; here is a street concert on the Royal Mile

Thanks Cessna. I am very jealous. There's nothing like Edinburgh during the Festival. I did notice the darkening skies, however, so that's some consolation here in relatively Sunny California.
