Thanks Alex. Most of those locations and views are very familiar to me and, since I have not been up to Edinburgh for a couple of years, they brought back happy memories. However, in all the many times I have been to the city I have not visited the Zoo - caged animals do very little for me, I'm afraid - but now I feel I should, for the views from Corstorphine Hill if nothing else! My regular B&B is in Murrayfield, only a short walk along Corstorphine Road from the Zoo.

As I view your photos its snowing (again) here in north Idaho - flakes the size of dinner plates so we know spring can't be more that a month or two away. Your photos are wonderful Alex - and you and Ann both look great! Thanks for the breath of spring on a snowy winter day!
