Is this one of the Indian sourced ones??
Yes; Royal Enfield of Redditch, England stopped production in 1964. Originally made under license from Redditch for Indian Army contracts, Indian Royal Enfields have been in continuous production since 1955, the longest continuous production run of any motorcycle in the world. It doesn't look Old School; it actually is Old School.

PiobBear, Very curious to how you like your Enfield. So nice looking, but i hear a maintenance nightmare, as a result of the Manufacturer still using 1950's tooling.
We'll see...it's been my experience that any British-made (or designed) motor vehicle requires a certain amount of tinkering; MG, Triumph, Jaguar; so I don't expect this to be much different. With very few changes (my favorite; a Mikuni carb and an electric starter), this is a 1955 model, so compared to a friend's Triumph Speed Triple it's somewhat primitive...on the other hand, I can do it all myself without a degree in engineering, a Sun machine, or a zillion dollars in tools, and I don't actually need a rocket that looks like a UFO. I guess it kind of depends upon what you're looking for in a bike; if you only want to turn the key and hit the button, and perhaps change the oil once in a while, to ride cross-country on the interstates, or break speed records, you'd undoubtedly be happier with something else.

Well I guess I'll finally post a few pics of my project. Some of the pics are old but here it is:

Some of the lighting I've done, All green LED:

The white gauges that I replaced the black ones with and painted the gray bezel black:

done: I've also replaced the sealed beam headlight with diamond cut glass composites, Sho-me headlight/taillight wigwag flashers, sho-me red mini LED light bar on roof, Fire dept cb radio inside, CD player, all factory speakers replaced, fiberglassed sub enclosure disguised as factory spare tire in back, blue LED dash lights, amber LED front blinkers, Red LED tail lights, sure pull trailer hitch, 100 watt back up lights hidden under the truck among with the factory ones in the tails, Grant steering wheel

Still to be done: Smoothing and painting some interior pieces, gonna fiberglass the dash out of my s-10 drag truck and put it in there next summer, Clear corner lens, redo the seats and cloth in camo canvas. I'm looking for a 2 inch body lift and some rims. My buddy gave me a spare tire carrier that goes on the tailgate so that'll be added when I get time.

Been wanting a kilted pic with my bike for some time so took advantage of a friend's visit to collect his St David's PC to get him to take a pic!

Pity it's not practical to ride it dressed that way!

Here's mine, a 1967 Nissan Patrol, KL60, one of 2,613 imported on the books, kind of annoyingly parked @ my parents in AZ, which means I can't get it up and running until August or September at the earliest.
