An unusual daily driver
Here's my ride:

1973 International 1010 1/2t Pickup. 345 V8, auto trans, Dana 44 rear axle w/ 3.54 PowerLock diff. Mostly original for 86k actual miles. I'm the 3rd owner.
10 mpg-empty, loaded, uphill, downhill. IHC used this same engine in dumptrucks and school buses. Built like a tank.
Any more vintage iron out there?

Sorry, but that International is the best looking truck in the thread.
Now that's classy.

My grandmother gave me this car:

1998 oldsmobile intrigue. 3.8L V6 rated at 19mpg city. usually gives me 13-15. and im still not sure why the folks at GM decided front wheel drive cars need rear wing spoilers.

I'll show you my truck when I get it back out of the shop. A couple weeks ago, when Memphis 'froze over,' my husband decided to go skiing, in the truck, over a curb, over a small defenseless tree, a flag pole and into one of those big residential signs with the foot square wooden posts cemented into block foundations. He hit dead center on the front. Only cosmetic damage though. Didn't even crack the radiator. I may even post the before and after.
