Now that's classy.
Thank You, Dread. The RumbleMobile (the Little Celtic Dancer named her) never fails to turn heads where she goes. I drove by a biker bar this evening and had 3 or 4 bikers dropping their jaws on the ground! The old girl does have a loud voice courtesy of dual 2 chamber Flowmasters with very short tailpipes. She does kinda stand out in the crowd.
I do have to admit, though-I have a soft spot for Kawasaki triples. Especially with Denco or Wirges expansion chambers. Nothing like the sound of a 750 triple w/ chambers going thru the gears.....gives me goosebumps just thinking about it!

I live in the Big City, and therefore, like Dreadbelly, my ride is my footwear.
For wearing around town:

For backpacking - this pair of shoes has about 600 trail miles on them:

Andrew, thank you so much for backing me up on this! Folks just don't appreciate fine footwear!
Probably because all of these fancy horseless carriages they cart themselves around in.

My Dad had an IHC Travelall 4x4 of that vintage. God awful purple and the softest, squishishiest, suspension. He didn't keep it very long.
Mine is on the ground:

If I was to ever buy a car...
An old VW van. Yeah. A hippie bus. With a motor converted to run on veggie oil.
A Honda Element. Sort of the new hippie bus. I saw a purple one with orange plastics and flowers painted all over it!
A Mini. ANY Mini. One of the new ones might be nice. I'd make a wacky little hippie go cart out of it.

Andrew and Dread-
I do appreciate good, rugged footwear.
I am on my feet at least 7 hrs. a day at my job. I wear Vasque Zephyr GTX hiking boots for the support and durability. I have been known to wear them off the clock on occasion, too.
Ordinary work boots just fell apart with the abuse I give them.

My Harley Softail on a nice autumn day. It's set up just the way I like it, no passenger seat.

I can't NOT have a car/truck. I live in Detroit, they don't call it the motor city for nothing. It makes my head hurt thinking about how one would even begin to get around without one. Our buses are a joke, and trains? What trains?
