Back home from our 3 week tour of Scotland, I can truthfully say that Ferintosh Guest House was the highlight in terms of accommodation.
Robertson and Emma are great hosts. Their home is beautiful.
And the wee dram of Mortlach was . . . . well, as Robertson said . . . 'mmmm... very sweetly sherried an woody....'.

Advice to all Xmarkers (and others) visiting Scotland - visit Robertson and Emma at the Ferintosh in Dumfries. I know I will be returning, someday.
