@Wareyin , Sam, have you given up on the guys getting together? I know some of our folk have been VERY lax in attendance, but
as you and I have discussed, we realize the importance of community. Maybe if we keep nudging them, they'll catch on. I'm sure
nobody will offer the usual work and wife excuses. Someone on another thread recently claimed they would have to miss a games
for a high school graduation. At least it should seem believable.

Yes, some people will just say anything to get out of wearing a kilt in public, won't they? ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
I recall our discussion on community, and I still do feel that it is important. I'm more than happy to get together, whether I plan it or not. The problem has been the "getting together" bit, as interest really seems to have fallen off. Several previous regulars have stopped posting altogether, and even getting those still active to come out has been like herding cats.

I had pretty much assumed this group had gone the way of the doe doe. There is a group(friends not on here) that has been getting together on a more regular basis to kilt up at multiple areas in the south east quadrant of the city..EAYC ; Krog Street Market ; Highlander ; Brick Store Pub...etc.
Heck even getting the group together for an outing to the Georgia Renaissance Festival was more than a bit of fun.

I had a great time wearing my kilt to the Georgia Renaissance Festival a couple of times this year, myself.

I have a great time wearing one to my bluegrass jams every Wednesday and Sunday evenings. And to the grocery store, the hardware store,
out to eat......

You know, since we all have such a great time going out kilted, we ought to do an Atlanta X-Marks thing where we go out as a group and do something kilted!

MEOW.
I know, I've been busy the last year or so. And it's not easy for me to make it down to the Virginia Highlands or Decatur on a weeknight. Weekends would work out better for me.

Please don't think I'm calling anyone out, here. I couldn't make it to the Blairsville games because of my son's graduation party (which was what I was joking about people saying anything, if I wasn't clear), and I've missed more than one planned get together over the last year as well. We all have busy lives, which is what makes it so hard to plan something when people are free.
Weekends work better for me, as well, but I can also do late afternoon/early evenings during the week. Work certainly cuts into my going out til the wee hours time!

Of course not! I was humorously calling myself out.

Now that Creag's ears have been roundly, soundly, AND amusingly boxed, do we yet have a game plan? Or some hope of beginning to commence to start to get ready to be fixin' to put one together?
