Topping off the contemporary kilt 2020 -21
In addition to the current reality / current abnormal / moving to New Normal's limitation of non-paranoid, free travel...
...'have been topping off, wearing almost exclusively either (mostly Cabela's) long-sleeved safari shirts or (either wool or acrylic) wooly-pully sweaters with the non-tartan (5-11 TDK) kilts, as daily kit.
Often with mid-calf plain colour hose and Dr. Martens general-wear shoes or 8-inch lace-up boots.
And an amused thought came of fairly recent...
...none of those items of this "contemporary (very informal) kilted day-wear"...
....are items of traditional kilt garb. 'Kinda ironic.
"...and the beat goes on...."

...addendum
Addendum to "Topping off..."

...during the summer, the contemporary solid colour contemporary kilts are oft topped off with a "Hawai'ian" shirt.
However, 'tis a tad painful to even think of being out and about, demi-freely...someday...
...with us all wearing masks until...?
