Today marks the one year point that I first wore my kilt with the dedication to go kilted whenever possible. It started at a Christmas party. While I had 2 kilts previous, I only wore those on special occassions and mostly where others were kilted! That night I reconnected with the Scottish side of both family sides and a total of 20 kilts later...well here I am!
While I can not got to work kilted I do spend my weekends and off time kilted. I could recap what I have learned this last year about people's reactions to seeing someone in a kilt, family reactions to me in a kilt and some of my most memorable experiences in a kilt (some posted here in the forum in the past). But, what I think of most is how much fun it has been. Yes, rude comment by some and fun conversations with some others but it's an experience most of the unkilted will never know.
To sum it up...'Life's good in a kilt".
