    Toys for Tots Drive

This weekend was the big Toys for Tots drive in our area. While we have several toy drives in our are that we support this is one of our favorites. Saturday we went shopping early then off to the drop off site. In years past we had just pulled up, dropped off and on our way we went. This year we did the same thing but Linda wanted a picture (scrapbooking you know!) one of the organizers said "Let's do this right." and Sgt. Dennis Long from Dallas came over and Linda, myself Sgt. Long and 'Mickey Mouse' did a 'Kodak Moment'. Just thought I'd share this.

Also got a "nice kilt" from one of the other Marines.

    Toys for Tots...

    Richard,

Our St. Andrew's Society also collected for Toys for Tots this year; the "admission" into our annual Christmas party was one unwrapped new toy, and we came away with eight bags full for the Marines! One of our members took it over to the reserve center yestersday, along with the toys collected by our Masonic Lodge, and his truck-bed was filled to over-flowing!

    Cheers,

    T.

When I graduated from high school back in the day I recieved a teddy bear wearing a kilt as a gift from a friend, maybe that started the whole kilt thing
