You'll enjoy it Graham. BBC Canada is showing all the series up to seris 5 each weekday at 2 pm (PST). So to deal with the wait for Series 3 on DVD (May 17th) I am recording them all. Sure is nice to see some new (to me) episodes.

My sister called me last night and begged me to bring my Monarch DVDs to her this weekend. I'm trying to educate the masses.
My father, on the other hand, still refers to it as "that goofy Scottish soap opera." He likes the show, but there are a lot of other things I'd prefer to hear it called.

So gentlemen, a question...
Just got a PBS catalog that has 1,2,3 at a discount, or some deal at least.
Are there a lot of kilted scenes or just a few? Would it be worth it to buy the series just to see the kilts and how the actors move, sit, etc in kilts or are the kilts few and far between. Haven't seen the show ever.
Thanks for the feedback,
Ron

Ron,
Whilst a kilt is not present in every scene in "Monarch", you do see them quite a bit, especially when it comes to Duncan, who wears one all the time -- if you can get the three seasons at a discount, then I highly recommend you do -- "Monarch" is a fantastic & entertaining show!
Cheers,
Todd

Todd is right on the money.
I started watching the show to see the kilts.
I came to love the show due to the actors and the
beautiful scenery.
The scenery is often a character by itself.

Not wanting to highjack the thread, but I now have BBC America and would like to know if Monarch is on in my area. Does anybody know where I can find that information?
Charter Cable in St. Louis County.
Thanks
