    Sporrans and Pouches

Always on the lookout for sporrans and alternatives I looked around Google a little looking for 'hip pouches' etc.

I came across this website which offers two 'sporrans', and then, perhaps more interestingly, some 'belt pouches' and a '3 pocket belt-bag'.

    http://www.colonialmarket.com/pepe/bags.html

From there I Googled 'belt pouches' and found a whole lot more:

    http://www.leatherbelts.com/cat_BABEL.html

Plain and simple - fanny-pack/bum-bag (why doesn't someone come up with a better names !) style - http://www.naturalreflections.com/le...elt-pouch.html

    Mixed selection - http://www.nortex-products.com/pouch...ches_menu.html

Celtic and embossed styles - http://www.highland-celtic-leather.com/itmidx5.htm

And apparently Freelander aren't the only Norse outfit in existance (though I make no comparisons on the quality) - http://www.jelldragon.com/pouches.htm

Also thought I'd just toss in another sporran site I found, small one:

I like the "small belt pouches" and for $25.00 the price isn't too bad. Also the "3-Pocket Belt Bag" is nice, but at $65.00 probably a little to expensive for what you get.

You might could keep it up son, you's pretty good at it!!

Harp and Dragon is in Cortland, NY, which I believe is not too far from Ithaca. So, you NY kilter's have a place to check out.

I also saw it listed on Bob Dunsire's bagpipe page, but at the moment can't recall the comments made on the store.

I like the Belt Draw String Sporran Bag from Pepe's, it's similar to the Freelander Sporran.

This is more for the contemporary kilt. More utilitarian for camping.
