Newly kilted Canadian
I wanted to ask if there was anyone out there who has purchased a kilt from Stillwater Kilts, and if they are worth looking at.
The reason I am asking is I am thinking about getting a couple to wear to work, as I work in a warehouse moving freight, I don't want to worry about getting them filthy or tearing them, but I still want a traditional looking kilt.
These look like they would fill the bill, for the money they look like a bargain.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have an "Irish National" economy model from Stillwater. For a knockaround kilt it's fine. I will be selling it shortly as I just bought the Irish National Southerncelt kilt that Chris had for sale. If you're a size 32 and want to check it out, let me know. I'll let it go fairly cheap.

I have a black stewart standard model. I like it, but it's the closest I have to a traditional at the moment. (stupid college bills!) Anyway, I do like the standard, and I've heard good things about the heavyweight, (I hope to have one myself in a month or two).
However, I've heard nothing but bad things about the economy model.

I have two of the "Standard" model...a plain black (don't make it any more) and a Black Watch and I wear them all the time. The acrylic fabric will develop some fuzz after you wear it for a while, but aside from that, I like them both a lot.

Irish national kilt
Thanks for the offer Al but I am a size 34 (actually 35 but 34 sounds better) so I don't think it would fit to well, nice tartan though...
The economy or the standard sound like good choices...

Stillwater questions
Thanks for the info Chasim, I also think the heavyweight looks good, but not for work.
College bills aren't stupid they will pay off in the long run, good luck.

Stillwater, I'm thinking to much
Alan thanks for the info, I am leanig towards the standard model in either the black stewart or the nightstalker.
The fuzz doesn't bother me to much.
