Kilt in a movie
I don't know if this has been posted or not, but I saw a movie last night with a kilt. My wife and I were watching "The Last of the Blonde Bombshells", and a bit of the story takes place in Scotland. The gentleman in that segment wears a kilt. I think he was wearing a formal sporran, though, since it had fur and tassels, but he wasn't wearing a formal coat.
The movie itself was fun - it was a story about a swing band from WWII that was all women. The music was good and story line wasn't bad, either.
Just remembered - we watched Ladder49 recently as well, and that had a kilted gentleman at a party.
Take care,
Tom

Tom, I saw ladder 49 tonight (good film) and yes, I saw the kilt there, I think it was McKenzie tartan.

There is a very quick shot in "National Treasure" of two gentleman in kilts at the National Archive Galla. Need to watch it again to see the tartan but I think it might have been Stewart Black. They had PC coats, bow ties and sporrans. They looked much more sophisticated than the stiffs in tuxedo's

The kilts were together and at the bottom of the screen in the middle. You see them for about 1 second so don't blink
